Quote of the Week

There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.

-Maya Angelou

Every writer lives with this one everyday, I think. The trick is in telling the story so others will want to read it.

Writers also live with having generated a few things they probably should have kept inside. :)

I don't really think of it as agony. More like that excited feeling when you've got a great piece of news or information to share. The trick for me is keeping that excitement level up. It always flags in the middle and then picks up again.

I understand what you mean, Michelle, but I must admit to being in a kind of agony to get a story out and on paper when I can't get to a computer. Mu problem is remembering all the cool details once I finally do get the chance to write it down. Thanks for stopping by.
