Quote of the Week

I've found this quote to be quite true. I use small moments to accomplish many small things and it is amazing how much actually can be done in those small moments. A lesson I was forced to learn between my own limitations and the demands of babies and small children. Now I use it between my reading and writing demands.

"Much may be done in those little shreds and patches of time which every day produces, and which most men throw away. " ~Charles Caleb Colton

I agree. During school those shreds are when I get most of my reading done, and at least some of my writing.

I suspect many of us get things accomplished that way these days, Charles.

It gets harder and harder not to throw them away. :)

Ditto bernard. We lose scraps of time in myriad ways--but primarily from not paying attention! (Guilty as charged!)

Thanks for stopping by my blog!

This post is so very much on the money. it took me most of my life to realize that it's true, and I very much wish that I had learned it earlier.

Bernard, I know what you mean.

Ditto Writtenwyrdd!

But now we are older and wiser, right, vwriter? Or at least that's my story.

I love it! Exactly what I need to remember right now. I am so overwhelmed and stressed I'm actually running a fever. Isn't that crazy?

Spyscribbler, you need to find a few minutes to just breathe. Turn off your worries and demands for a bit and breathe. Can really make a difference. Thanks for stopping by.
